Reclaimed Cypress Bottle Green Sideboard
Locally crafted with a solid reclaimed cypress top, this credenza features a deep bottle green painted case anchored by a clean plinth base. Three inset-panel cabinet doors open on concealed hinges to reveal a color-matched interior fitted with a single continuous fixed shelf spanning the full length of the cabinet, accented by vertical bronze-tone bar pulls.
Background Note
Bald cypress is traditionally known as the "wood eternal" due to its natural oil, cypressene, which grants it remarkable natural resistance to decay and insect damage. Salvaged from historic Southern buildings and agricultural structures, old-growth reclaimed cypress exhibits a tight, distinctive grain pattern and warm character that distinguishes it from contemporary commercially harvested lumber.
