Cristal d'Arques Masquerade Champagne Flutes
This set of six crystal champagne flutes is crafted in the Masquerade pattern by Cristal d'Arques. Each flute features a flared bowl embellished with geometric diamond crosshatching beneath arched upright cuts, balanced on an elongated faceted stem and a smooth circular foot.
Background Note
Introduced in 1968 by the French glassmaker Arc International, Cristal d’Arques became the first manufacturer to automate the production of 24% genuine lead crystal stemware. This breakthrough technique transformed European crystal from an exclusively hand-cut luxury into an accessible staple for celebrations and formal dining throughout the late 20th century.
