Green Jack-O'-Lantern Sitting Plush Decor
This handmade Halloween soft-sculpture sitting doll features a light green plastic jack-o'-lantern bucket head on a plush cloth body. The seated figure is constructed with black printed fabric adorned with candy corns, bats, lollipops, and stars, complemented by patterned arms, fabric feet, and ribbon accents.
Background Note
Soft-sculpture sitting dolls crafted from seasonal items combine traditional folk art crafting with commercial holiday motifs. Molded plastic jack-o'-lantern pails first became standard American trick-or-treating accessories in the mid-20th century. Crafters frequently repurpose these classic bucket designs into whimsical tabletop decorations by joining them with stuffed textiles and seasonal ribbon accents.
