Fluid Art Marble Lazy Susan with Glow Effect
A round lazy susan featuring a vibrant fluid art design, sealed with a clear resin coating. The swirling patterns incorporate various colors, including purples, blacks, whites, and touches of gold, creating an abstract, dynamic composition. The resin finish provides a smooth, glossy, heat-resistant surface over a genuine marble base. This piece also includes glow-in-the-dark paint, adding a noticeable luminous effect when in darkness. It functions as a rotating server for dining or display.
Background Note
Fluid art, also known as acrylic pouring, emerged as a popular abstract art technique in the mid-20th century, gaining significant traction in the 21st century. Artists create unique, organic patterns by mixing paints with a pouring medium and manipulating them on a surface. The application of a resin coating not only enhances the visual depth and glossiness of the artwork but also provides a durable, protective layer, making pieces like this suitable for functional use while preserving the intricate artistic details.
