Dark Stained Grey Wash Nightstand
This two-drawer nightstand features a dark wood stain accented with a weathered grey wash over wood veneers. The top drawer is fitted with a round metal pull knob, while the deeper lower drawer is framed with raised geometric molding and equipped with a metal drop-pendant pull. The cabinet rests on four turned bun feet.
Background Note
Weathered grey-wash finishes over dark wood grains became a defining characteristic of early 21st-century modern rustic and French country revival design. The architectural recessed panel molding on lower drawers reflects classic European casework traditions, while turned bun feet have provided sturdy base supports for bedroom cabinetry since the 17th century.
